Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance (YEA)


WHO WE ARE:

The Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance (YEA) is a national policy strategy group that is emerging in 2009-10
to continue to bring the message of the importance of youth entrepreneurship education to the attention of national leaders
that can be advocates and help the field expand. It started as 12 national organizations that emerged from the
Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy Group, an Aspen Institute initiative, that ended in June, 2009.

Initial member organizations include:
Burton Morgan Foundation, Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education, CFED, DECA, Inc, E*Trade, FBLA-PBL,
Goldman Sachs, JA Worldwide, NFIB-YEF, NACCE, NFTE, and US SBA.
Additional members are welcome to join the new initiative.

 


Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy Group (YES Group)


WHO WE WERE:

The Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy Group (YES GROUP) was a collaborative initiative of the Aspen Institute
in partnership with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and E*TRADE FINANCIAL. (2006 - 2009) We convened prominent leaders from the fields of education, entrepreneurship and business, public policy, the media, and philanthropy to explore the promise of, and obstacles to, implementing youth entrepreneurship education
in low-income communities nationwide.

Our 35 members represent thousands of teachers
and hundreds of thousands of youths throughout the U.S. and abroad:
